Title: Manager Competitive Intelligence and Assessment
Location: Windsor Locks, CT
Summary: This leadership position will be responsible for developing and implementing a competitive intelligence and competitive assessment program for technology and business positioning addressing all major HS competitors focusing on new business opportunities. Specifically the position will be responsible for focusing the CI/CA effort, for gathering the information, for analyzing the information, and generating recurring and special assessment documents/presentations. The position will work closely with HS Business Unit elements in the CI/CA activity and the HS technical community. In addition there will be interaction with CI/CA activity at P&W and Sikorsky.The position will manage 3-5 people and corresponding budget and report to the Manager of Systems and Technology. This position is within the Hamilton Sundstrand Central Engineering organizationCI/CA results and reports will be presented to upper levels of leadership across Hamilton Sundstrand and UTC.This position will be expected to create an investigate style and culture for CI/CA within Hamilton Sundstrand and will develop a Standard Work Process for HS CI/CA activities. This position will also lead Knowledge Management initiatives within the buisness, overseeing a KM infrastructure, and working to develop appropriate content and foster a knowledge managemnt culture within our businesses.
