Title: Sr. Competitive Intelligence Process & Systems Consultant

Location: Mooresville, NC

Summary: The Senior Competitive Intelligence Systems and Processes Consultant drives reporting and metrics to effectively communicate and assess competitive shop data to provide Merchandising and Field Operations insight into competitiveness in Lowe's markets across the United States. This position also is the driver of current processes and policy improvement, as well as, system enhancements for Lowe's Competitive Intelligence Technology that enables improved productivity of the Competitive Intelligence Group. This role will be responsible for the following; however, should also be willing to take a leadership role when asked to drive new initiatives and ad hoc requests for Competitive Intelligence. The following details the various responsibilities of the role: . In depth Competitive Intelligence Shop Analysis and Communication to Merchandising, Field Leadership and Executives . Review and process improvement recommendations to improved productivity for Competitive Intelligence . Drive System Enhancements, Design and Development of Lowe's CIS System, Competitive Intelligence DART reporting and Competitive Intelligence Software . Development and execution of a Competitive Intelligence Partnership Program with the Product Line Review Process in alignment with Merchandising's goals and objectives . Competitive Shop Process and Market Price Manager Improvements . Competitive Intelligence Project Workflow and Analysis Improvements . Department Reporting, Analysis, Execution and Strategic recommendations Position Requirements Computer Systems Knowledge (Genesis, mainframe, CIS and Rival Watch system knowledge desired) . Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Microstrategy (Dart-Desktop) . Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills (Background in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science desired) . Effective oral and written communication skills . Effective Multitasking skills, time management and organizational skills . Two years experience in Price Management, Marketing, Merchandising, Financial Planning and Analysis, Store Operations, or Logistics preferred . Four year college degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications BS or BA Degree
