Title: Senior Analyst, Life Competitive Intelligence

Summary: The Life Competitive Intelligence Senior Analyst has the important role of delivering tactical and strategic market intelligence to the enterprise, facilitating the development and sale of competitive, innovative, life insurance products. The Analyst is looked to for in-depth reconnaissance into the environment that Lincoln competes and to support the product development life cycle through research and analysis of the industry, the life insurance marketplace and core competitors. The responsibilities include creating benchmarking spreadsheets, summary reports and numerous analytical tools for a variety of audiences including business line leaders, senior management, sales management, marketing and many others. Job Requirements: Maintain and develop network of industry contacts to proactively monitor the life marketplace and to ethically acquire and disseminate competitive information. Use product and industry expertise to actively participate in product development process and attend product workgroups. Assist in the development of timely competitive marketing pieces that provide our clients with information necessary to define our product message. Work with Team Leader to communicate that message to various groups throughout the organization. Assist in the production of detailed comparisons of competitor product structure, rates, and features. Analyze key performance criteria for all contract types. Assist as needed with industry product surveys to ensure Lincoln Financial Group products are prominently and accurately represented in industry publications and reference guides. Act as a resource to other departments in the communication of company and industry life insurance product matters. Assist in providing data for miscellaneous requests, including strategic planning documents and quarterly reports.
