• Support Target's strategic priorities by compiling, interpreting, analyzing and sharing geographic competitive intelligence
• Update competitive location database, maps and generate monthly Major Retail Competition (MRC) files, annual reports and maps for all Target markets
• Build and maintain partnerships with corporate clients, adding value to their decision making
• Identify opportunities related to the impact of competitors on Target's location and operational strategy and provide actionable insights to Market Research & Analytics and other affected groups throughout the corporation
• Develop competitive intelligence from multiple sources by generating insights and identifying emerging trends in the competitive landscape
• Represent Capital Finance's competitive interests across the corporation
Requirements
• 4-year college graduate with Finance, Business, Geography or Communications degree
• 1-3 years work experience
• Strong, confident & experienced communication skills
• Strong database and computer skills, including familiarity with Access, Excel & Power Point
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust and maximize relationships
• Strong project management skills, ability to independently and effectively organize information, time, and multiple tasks
