Title: Competitor and Market Intelligence Lead Analyst    

Location: McLean, VA   

Summary: Develop and communicate insightful US federal government market intelligence to support strategic business decisions and strategy formulation across the senior levels of Booz Allen. Support senior leadership across the firm and provide the range and depth of competitive intelligence required to make business decisions ranging from the creation of capture strategies to targeted market and account planning. Build and maintain a network of internal and external intelligence sources and posses knowledge of relevant secondary data sources. Research and interpret quantitative and qualitative information weaving together disparate data points to build and present concise and relative competitive intelligence.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:-5 years of experience with performing market research and developing competitive intelligence for professional services organizations-3 years of experience with business development or delivery of consulting services in the federal marketplace-Experience with using data from the Federal Procurement Data Systems (FPDS) and US federal market opportunity tools, including INPUT-Experience with Microsoft Excel-Knowledge of the government acquisition environment, including the competitive landscape-Knowledge of trends that impact what services the federal government buys and how it buys those services, including federal budget and appropriations process-Ability to turn research into executive-level briefings in PowerPoint to support business development and strategic planning activities-BA or BS degreeAdditional Qualifications:-Ability to build and maintain partner relationships with senior staff and peers-Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a geographically dispersed environment-Ability to be flexible-Ability to work in a fluid environment where requirements may change quickly and with tight turn-around timelines-Ability to manage multiple priorities and workload successfully-Ability to transfer knowledge and develop and manage a staff-Possession of excellent quantitative and qualitative skills-MA or MS degree
