Title: Manager III Marketing Research
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Summary: The Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC), Customized Engineering and Depot Support Services (CEDS) Manager, Strategic Pricing and Market Research will be responsible, to conduct competitive strategic and deal to win analysis on various business pursuits within RTSC CEDS. This person will be responsible for performing Price to Win analysis on competitive pursuits generally ranging in size from $5M to $100M, with some cases in excess of $100M. The Manager, Strategic Pricing and Market Research is expected to create estimates/predictions of competitors pricing and approach on engineering, logistics and depot support contracts by combining personnel experience and acquired Competitive Intelligence (CI). This person must understand various methods of legally obtaining CI data (both financial and technical) and obtain such data to be able to develop detailed financial analysis predicting competitors pricing. In addition, the Manager, Strategic Pricing and Market Research will be responsible for devising and recommending RTSC CEDS bidding strategies to effectively compete against competitors.The Manager, Strategic Pricing and Market Research will interact primarily with Capture Managers and capture team members, Cost Volume Leads, RTSC Cross Business Teams, Business Unit personnel and the RTSC CEDS Leadership Team. This person must be capable of summarizing the details of the conclusions derived from the competitive analysis and conducting formal briefings to executive management and have the ability to effectively respond to various competitive scenarios and counterpoints during real-time strategy discussion. This person is expected to also be a productive participant in Black Hat reviews, pink teams, red teams and win strategy workshops.
