Title: Manager, Market Research
Location: Cambridge, MA
Summary: The Market Research Manager will be responsible for primary and secondary market research. This position will report to the Director of Marketing Research and Analytics within the Biosurgery division. Job Responsibilities/Department description: Manage all phases of primary market research projects to develop actionable recommendations and communicate/present results. Execute projects utilizing various approaches and techniques, including: multivariate analyses, segmentation, positioning, market assessments and competitive analysis, benchmarking, advertising testing and tracking, etc. Design ROI analyses focused on the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication programs Execute projects focused on various target audiences, including: physician, payer, consumer, etc. Work and collaborate with global marketing and other commercial management to identify market research and analytical needs. Conduct secondary analyses on available data to support commercial marketing. Support annual planning processes by providing inputs to the external analysis / situational analysis and therapeutic area landscape. Build, manage and maintain relationships with key vendors of market research, secondary data, and consulting services. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: BS or BA in marketing, market research, statistics, or related field required. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market research is required. 20% domestic/international travel required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in global pharmaceutical/medical device market research, or healthcare field is preferred. MBA or MS is preferred. Knowledge of SPPS or comparable statistic package. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
