Summary: Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development the Market Research Analysts primary responsibilities are to analyze and monitor industry macro trends across all business foci to drive strategic and tactical business decisions. Consult with senior management and business development, set objectives for data analysis and reporting. Develop process and infrastructure for collection and dissemination of intelligence (market, competitor and customer) across organization. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define, develop and expand infrastructure to support on-going intelligence needs of organization. Perform research internally and externally to develop comprehensive view of market growth and trends. Develop presentations for use in strategic and planning meetings. Monitoring will consist of reviewing industry publications, internet searches, technical journals etc. Perform analysis and generate reports regarding product trends, ordering patterns, pricing, etc using data collected from internal systems and external sources. Perform analysis and generate reports regarding customer buying behavior, customer trends, customer satisfaction, campaign effectiveness, etc using data collected from internal systems and external sources. Profile and report on competitor activity through analysis of competitive intelligence data collected through external sources and information gathered by the commercial team.
